Camping at Westland Farm
We are open for camping from the end of May to Mid September.
Experience nearly wild camping just like it used to be! Being close to Exmoor National Park, there is very little light pollution; when you are staying remember to look up and see the stars. If you would like to camp in an open field, under the stars, with a small campfire outside your tent, where you can sit and watch the night sky, with a beer in your hand then this is the camping site for you!
WE ENCOURAGE CAMP FIRES FOR THE FULL CAMPING EXPERIENCE
Having grown up helping on my parents campsite in the 70’s and 80’s, we’ve tried to keep the same relaxed, fun feel for our campsite. There are no designated pitches, with plenty of room for children to play games, make friends and explore. We are a family fun working farm and very proud of how we raise our animals. We are always happy to chat with guests about the farm, children are most welcome to come and help us feed the animals in the mornings to gain the full farming experience. You can even collect freshly laid eggs straight from the hens for breakfast. If you’re luck, you may get to see piglets or calves being born!
We have a unique washing up area, overlooking the pigs. Wash your dishes in the morning, watching the pigs sunbathing or wallowing in the mud.
We have a well- equipped luxury and spacious toilet and shower block which is heated all year round, with individual bathrooms, each with a large shower area, toilet, wash basin and mirror. Plenty of room for a whole family. Complete with washing machine and tumble drier, fridge freezer and drying wall. There are electric points for hair dryers, straighteners or charging phones, but please do bring a power pack just incase.
Our camping fields offer plenty of space, whether you are coming as a family, group of friends or enjoying a peaceful break alone. We charge per person, not per pitch, so there is no extra charge for larger tents, bell tents and you are welcome to bring gazebos or toilet tent.
Well behaved dogs are welcome £5 per night

Camping rates: Adults: £12.50 per night, Children (4 and over): £6, Under 4’s: FREE, Dogs: £5
If you would like to have a fire, you are welcome to bring along your own logs, or we can supply nets of logs, which are available at £7.50 per net.
